Prime location at Dam Square

fantastic base for exploring iconic attractions and vibrant streets

I found this hotel to be a fantastic choice because it was just a few steps from Madame Tussauds and almost 2 km from the Rijksmuseum, making my weekend city strolls so enjoyable and full of sights. plus, the room was spacious with a king-sized bed that offered me the comfort I needed after my daily explorations.

Loved the hotel's prime location just minutes from major attractions. The staff were welcoming and helpful, which was a nice touch, though the room was slightly noisy and the pillows could use improvement. Overall, it was a pleasant stay in the heart of Amsterdam.

Rooms need better soundproofing to avoid street noise!!! Shower pressure is subpar, making it less enjoyable!!! Old furniture should be updated for a true luxury feel!!! Lack of proper complaint handling is disappointing!!!

The warm welcome with hot towels and the helpful advice on local attractions made my stay special. The room was cozy and well-equipped, making it a lovely base for exploring Amsterdam.

my stay at swissotel was great! the location is perfect, right next to the royal palace and close to everything. the premium twin room was comfy, and the staff was super helpful. i really enjoyed the fitness room, too, with all the fancy equipment. you can easily explore the city from here!

The Swissotel had an amazing location right next to Dam Square. Access to trams and trains was super convenient. The room felt modern and was impressively clean. I loved the sleek design and found the amenities quite handy. The staff were really friendly and helped with any questions we had. However, I did notice the elevator was a bit slow and sometimes crowded. Also, there was a bit of street noise at night that made it slightly tricky to sleep. The breakfast had a great variety of options, but a few dishes could have been fresher. Overall, the ambiance was lovely, and I’d consider staying here again.

The location is central, within a 10-minute walk of major attractions, making it perfect for tourists. The room was spacious, featuring a mini bar and a coffee machine, with one of the most comfortable beds I've ever slept on. I appreciated the cleanliness throughout the facilities, which was paramount during my stay.

Had a great time with friends! We visited De Beurs van Berlage and De Koninklijke Industrieele Groote Club, and the atmosphere was fantastic. Queen's Day celebrations added such a fun vibe. Overall, the staff were helpful and we appreciated the comfortable beds and lovely dining options. Perfect for exploring the area!

The only downside was the slight noise from the street which made sleeping a little tricky at times.

Just had an incredible three-night stay! I loved the spacious bedroom with the fancy electronic curtains and the luxurious bathroom. All the little touches really made it feel special!
